Dates and Standards - Region
There are two parts to the LEZs in Lombardia.
Permanent from 15 October 2011, for all of Lombardia:
- 2-stroke motorcycles and mopeds Euro 1
- Public diesel buses (M3) Euro 3
from Monday to Sunday from 00.00 to 24.00
From 15 October 2012 to 15 April 2013 in the areas shaded on the map below the LEZ is:
• Petrol Euro 1
• Diesel Euro 3
Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 19.30
Diesel vehicles that have been fitted with a diesel particulate filter to meet Euro 3 are allowed in the LEZ.
Vehicles affected - Region
All vehicles, including motorcycles.

Key: The yellow shaded area is covered by the LEZ. Green and green roads are exempt from the LEZ, yellow roads are where there is a reduced tariff shuttle bus service, blue roads a reduced tariff bus services.
Blue P is park & ride sites, Yellow P is bus station.
The LEZ includes the following authorities in and around the Brescia urban area:
Borgosatollo, Botticino, Bovezzo, Brescia, Castel Mella, Castenedolo, Cellatica, Collebeato, Concesio, Flero, Gardone Val Trompia , Gussago, Lumezzane, Marcheno, Nave, Rezzato, Roncadelle, San Zeno Naviglio, Sarezzo, Villa Carcina.

Hours of operation - Region
From 15th October 2011 permanent for 2-stroke mopeds and motorcycles – 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
For other vehicles from 15 October 2012 to 15 April 2013, Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 19.30

National Scheme - Country
There is currently no Italian national scheme, but regional as well as individual city schemes.
Local name for an LEZ - Country
Zona a Traffico Limitato (ZTL) or Limitazioni della circolazione, the general name for road restriction, also used for LEZs.
