Dates and Standards Vehicles are allowed in for 6 years from the date of first registration. Euro 2 and 3 vehicles 8 years from date of first registration. See table below. This means that:

Therefore particulate trap retrofits are no longer allowed. However, those vehicles with an existing permit from the previous ruling on particulate traps are still allowed. So the standards for each Swedish city are the same, see the standards outlined above. Exemptions: National None. There are five LEZs in Sweden in operation. Their standards are no lorries over 6 years old, except those between 6 and 8 years old must be at least Euro 3 as of 1.1.2010.
