Which retrofit is valid where?

The following files can be downloaded and provide two tables that show where a retrofit manufacturer has a product certified to meet the the requirements of particular schemes. This table gives you the collated information on which retrofits give you entry to LEZs in that country when fitted to your vehicle.

Please note:

  • This table gives a guide only to which filters may be appropriate for your vehicle. Not every vehicle or vehicle useage is neccesarily covered by each manufacturer. The retrofit manufacturer or fitter will be able to advise you exactly which product is appropriate for your vehicle.
  • This table should be taken only as a guide to the filters certified. It contains data from official sources in each case and is regularly updated - however, it may not be always as up to date as the official source.
  • If you download or print these files, please remember to check this page regularly for updates.

You should get your vehicle certified in the country your vehicle is registered in. In general, LEZs in countries other than where your vehicle is registered will accept the particulate trap certification from your own country. If there is no retrofit LEZ certification in your own country, then any existing retrofit certification or national recognition is recommended. In the absence of both of these we would suggest that a particulate filter is chosen that is valid in the country you are travelling to, with a certification from the manufacturer.

If there is no entry in the cell, then the equipment is not valid for that option.
